If you're using OneNote 2016, 2019, or 2021 and do not have Microsoft 365, you may still need to use the downloadable Class Notebook add-in.

If you can follow the steps here in your Desktop version of OneNote, you no longer require the Class Notebook legacy add-in. Otherwise, you can download the legacy add-in here. If you are looking to deploy the legacy add-in broadly across multiple PCs or you are an IT Administrator, please click here for more information.
